“Write Me A Love Story” is a
novel written by Ravinder Singh. This is his eighth novel. This novel is about
Abhomanyu Razdan who is known for his bestselling romances and is loved by the
youth. On the other side, PaperInk is a new publishing house and is looking for
the popular author who can take the publishing house to the next level. So,
they have the contract with Abhimanyu and he meets Ashmita. In the beginning,
Asmita doesn’t prefer to work in the novel as she hasn’t edited the novel
before but the company convinces her and she agrees to work. Furthermore,
Abhimanyu doesn’t prefer to work with her and gets into a hot argument with
Asmita but with the time they get closer. They both started falling in love
with each other. But with the time, they get separated. What is the reason for
them to be separated and will they be together?
I
was a kind of disappointed with the novel. More than the story, it is focused
on sex and looks like a diary. Furthermore, the novel is like watching Indian
series where boy and girl had argument on small matters. Sometimes, Abhimanyu
and Asmita fight and they don’t speak for the long period of time but alos she
saves Abhimanyu. In adiitional to this, the story is below the average.
Moreover, the plot stills at some points and it wasn’t moving ahead. Not only
that, the writing fluctuated a lot. It was great and descriptive in some places
but fell low in others. To be honest, I
was impressed with Ravinder Singh’s novels like “I Too Had A Love Story,” “Cab
Love Happen Twice,” and “Your Dreams are Mine Now.”
In
conclusion, it is just a onetime read book. It’s not interesting to read. In
the beginning, the readers will enjoy reading but further it’s boring and slow
to go or move. Some might leave in the middle and some may continue to read for
the ending. To be honest, I escaped in the middle. If I had to rate, I could
rate 2/5.
