READ FOR ONCE

What could you do if your wife tells she loves another person immediately after getting married? What could you do when you are linked with a girl who is supposed to get married and you don’t know you are linked with her? If a person who you hate the most and he irritates you by coming and if your hard disk of computer is theft by him,what will be your reaction? What will be your reaction if a girl rejects your love proposal and the same girl hangs with your friend?

These types of stories are found in Kathaki Patra written by Subin Bhattarai. There are nineteen stories and each stories are interesting to read. Each story makes the audience think that why did it happen to the characters? Does it happen in the real life? What happens if it was in the real life? What could you do if it happens in your life?

For example, in the first story ‘’Aaudha,’’ it’s about the relationship between husband and wife. Although, there are married but their relationship is not working. They don’t speak with each other. After getting married, wife tells her husband that she loves somebody else. This makes her husband angry. After that, they don’t speak that much but husband hopes one day his wife will hug him and will tell she loves him. But it didn’t happen as he accepted.

Days have passed, month have passed but there is no accept that she doesn’t love him .But he doesn’t even know that his wife loves him very much. Wife feels guilty for confessing the truth. She loves her husband but she too hasn’t express her feeling towards her husband. She too accepts her husband to hug her and tell how much there is full of love. They both started loving each other but don’t express their feelings.

Readers might feel that probably husband and wife could have spoken and could make clear about the feelings.

Beheyko Nimto is another interesting story which I really like. The male character gets invitation card of neighbour's daughter marriage. His families were divided to attend different marriage ceremony and his part was to attend the neighbour marriage. All of his families went for the marriage. He was about to take bath meanwhile his phone rang. His one of the friend died. So, he rushed towards funeral without shaving beard.

After that, he returns home. This makes him depress and doesn’t want to go marriage ceremony. But after calling to his mom, he goes to marriage ceremony without shaving. The interesting part is that when he attends the ceremony; he gets shocked because everyone gives attention towards. Unknown people start looking at him and starts talking about him.

After a while, people talks about his Aashmita’s [a girl who is supposed to get married] affair. He was shocked because they never have thought like that.

He and Ashmita were neighbour. They used to study together. Sisters of Ashmita used to tease them since they were together. They were close but they didn’t have that kind of feelings.

Due to this, people have thought they were in love. Moreover, he didn’t shave his beard. This made people think that he is in tragedy mood and unhappy with Aashmita’s marriage. But nobody knew why he was in no mood.

The gossip of people made him irritation and he leaves the place. He couldn’t sit and eat there because of gossip.

There are other stories which are very interesting and suspense to read. Stories like Mann Pareko Saathi, Timi Malali Prem Kina Grachun?, Teen Katha, Mann Napareko Saathi, Aupsonsa, Kathaki Patra and other stories are interesting to read.

Subin Bhattarai writes well no doubt. Whatever, he writes readers won’t be disappointed. They shall not be disappointed after reading the book Kathaki Patra. He doesn’t make the readers bore and holds the end. He knows how to make readers hold the book.

The short stories are nice and light one. He has targeted to the youth he should also do on some serious writing. He is a good writer but he should do more research on the subject matter. After reading the stories, readers might be thinking he is inspired by Indian writers like Chetan Bhagat and Ravinder Singh. He should come out from it.

After reading stories readers might forget the stories because of light issues and stories. Sometimes readers might feel why the stories are suspense and why there is no clarification in some stories. The audiences should create their own opinion.

So, he should focus on serious stories too. He should clarify the reason. If he writes serious one, people can know his ability more and knows how much he can write serious issues. Being writer, he should be versatile.
