Forever is a lie by Novoneel Chakraborty

‘Forever is a Lie’ is a story about Prisha Srivastav and Mean Monster. After being dump by her ex-boyfriend, she joins Tinder- dating app and swipes right and leftover the profile. Then, she hears about the ‘Mean Monster.’ With the curiosity, she wants to know about her. Later, she knows that ‘Mean Monster’ is no other than Saveer Rathod, a thirty-four-year-old man with looks of a twenty-something guy runs an NGO for women safety and owns a cafe. He has everything in his life except love. In the beginning, Saveer ignores her but slowly falls for her.

But there is one villain who chases them. In the beginning, she thought it was Saver but later when both of them have a conversation about it, there is confusion. Who looks like Saveer? Who is chasing them? Who is the villain? To know the truth there is the second part of the book.

Honestly, I didn’t like this book of Novoneel. He has dragged the same point, again and again, a lot in this book. Although there is suspense in the story, it doesn’t connect to me. The characters are above the average. The love story between Saveer and Prishna is dragged a lot. Their love story is shown in a boring manner. So, I would rate the book 2.5 / 5.
