STORY

Guzaarish is a story of two sisters who are getting married to two brothers. Zara is the younger sister who is getting married with Zain. Zain is  the younger brother who loves Zara too. After getting marriage is the only thing they wanted and accepted this life because both they are in love deeply with each other. Sara is the elder sister of Zara, who is getting married with Jaffer who loves his ego, attitude more than anything.

On the marriage, Jaffer sees Sara with another guy who happens to be her boyfriend. Due to this reason, Jaffer doesn’t want to marry Sara and doesn’t prefer his brother to get married in this family. Zara asks for the forgiveness but he doesn’t listen and therefore the marriage is broken.

After few days, Saad marriages Zara and Sara marries boyfriend. Although, they settle down, they faces many problems and struggles to save their married life.

CHARACTERS
Zara is a strong with mind and physically strong who is always ready to fight with her life whatever life throws at her.

Phupo is another character who is stubborn. She hates to share love and cannot see any person loving her on, Saad. She cannot stand Zara and cannot prefer sharing Saad’s love towards his wife and tries to break the relationship.

Moreover, Jaffer loves his ego and attitude. He hates liar. Due to his ego, Zara faces a lot of problem and struggles to save the marriage life. On the other hand, Zain is a guy who cannot forget Zara and cannot move ahead. He is stuck in his past life.

Saad, although, is a decent guy, believes his mother blindly. He doubts on small matters and never analyses the matter. He belives on what he sees and never thinks that whatever is seen cannot be truth.

CONCLUSION

Guzaarish is the story about the sacrifice of relationships. It is based on love story of Zara and Zain and full of tragic with problems. Although, it is a typical love story or the story of two sisters Zara, Sara Ashraff as Sara married life. And somehow the story of a girl, Sara and her mother-in-law whose behavior is not good with Sara and his husband, who is not ready to hear anything against his mother.

What follows, is disappointingly a typical evil saas all out to make sure her son turns against the bahu and has her thrown out of the house. Despite Saad’s love for Zara, but with Zain’s constant presence somehow or the other in their lives, Saad succumbs to jealousy and suspicions and turns on Zara who finally has had enough and walks out of the house. She collapses and ends up at the hospital where Jaffar sees her and takes her home and Saad believing that Zara has gone back to Zain, wants nothing to do with her. All seems to have worked out how Phuppo envisioned except that Saad is then diagnosed with a brain tumor and by now he has learnt how his mother has played him and seems like the brain tumor has truly affected his brain because he feels the most fitting punishment for his mother would be to deprive her of the one person she loves the most – him. He refuses all treatment and shuts her out and Phuppo realizing how wrong she had been seeks out Zara for forgiveness and to bring her back to convince Saad to fight for his life.

Jaffar apparently has been in love with a woman abroad for many years who falls for the charms of a younger man, Khurram. Khurram marries her as she is rich and he has financial troubles back home but he does not love her. Khurram however hides this part of his life and marries Sara. Khurram and Sabina have a son who ends up with Jaffar who has made it his purpose in life to protect the child.

Jaffar apparently has been in love with a woman abroad for many years who falls for the charms of a younger man, Khurram. Khurram marries her as she is rich and he has financial troubles back home but he does not love her. Khurram however hides this part of his life and marries Sara. Khurram and Sabina have a son who ends up with Jaffar who has made it his purpose in life to protect this child.

Zain however finds it harder to give up on Zara and I found myself relating to his character and his confusion too. He made a few silly decisions especially jumping into Zara’s life time and again when she made it clear that would only ruin things but given how he was in love with her I could see how he was not ready to give up even though she was married now. However, his immature actions did only end up making life difficult for Zara.

I also liked how although the ending is a happy one, it took a few episodes to come to the point rather than dragging out the drama and then doing an about turn and turning everyone’s lives and personalities upside down within the last 40 minutes and lo and behold, all is well again. The viewers were kept wondering till the very last episode though who Zara will end up with eventually – Saad or Zain. Overall, the acting of all characters are excellent.

More than that, I love the story of the serial. It touched my heart. I love the character of Zara, Zain, Jaffar, Saad and especially Phupo. So, I refer people to watch the serial.
