LOVE IN THE TIME OF EARTHQUAKE

It was extremely raining and there were flashes of lights. The thunder and its lighting made Angelia too scared. She was just on the bed after two hours of chatting with her boyfriend.

After one hour..............

It was 12:30 midnight. She was sleeping and dreaming. Meanwhile, her bed started shaking. It was shaking so terribly that she got up so quickly like alarm used to do so. She immediately went outside so quickly that in her lifetime, she didn’t rush so badly.

Everyone shouted, “Earthquake. Earthquake. Earthquake came. Run, run. Let’s run.”

People were frightened everywhere. Many ran out of doors when the ground shook and found walking difficult. Windows crackled. Glassware broke. Furniture moved and overturned. Plaster and masonry crackled. The sound of birds was hushed as the trees and brushes waved their branches.

Everyone was shouting and crying. Many buildings were damaged. The houses felt down on people. Lots of people were injured. Furthermore, due to the rain, they couldn't run quickly. 

Most of the people didn't know how to swim and due to this reason, water took them away.

Angelia couldn't do anything. She was too scared that she couldn't help anyone. Her body was shaking very badly. She was not in that condition to help others. She was helpless.

After two hours.................

Angelia hasn't seen such terrific incidents. Everywhere she saw people crying and death bodies. Although, she had seen terrific incident in television but now she has experienced in real life. When she saw people crying for her loved one, she remembered her Simrik and tried to call him but due to the earthquake, network was not available. When she was trying again, she saw Simrik’s death body. With the flow of water his body came. The phone of Angelia fell in the water and there were full of tears.

She started shouting, “Simrik, Simrik. Please, speak something. Look at me. I am your Angelia. Look at me, please. Please, speak and say something. For the God sake, say something.”

She was speaking continuously. She was speaking and speaking that when she slept and she woke up, she didn't know. The body of Simrik was on her lap. Her eyes fell on the face of Simrik and tears fell in his cheek. She touched his face and started remembering each and every aspects of their life.

After few minutes, she heard a child crying. She was feeling hungry and crying. Angelia saw lots of people dying of hunger. She saw critical situation of people.

After one and half year.............

She has open the NGO for the poor people and who were victimized in the flood especially earthquake.

The incident which took one and half year made her inspire to help. At that time, she couldn't do anything.
