The New Year has already entered that is 2067 B.S. and there isn't still development in the movie sector of Nepali. The result of Nepali Cinema was quite astonishing. More than 40 movies were released but only few movies were successful. Only one movie was tagged as Blockbuster that is Kaha Bhetiyela, the comeback movie of Shrikrishna Shrestha was the only movie which made huge profit. This movie was produced by himself the actor, Shrikrishna Shrestha. The movies which were successful were Kahan Bhetiyala, Afno Mache Afnai Huncha, Batuli, Ekku - The Jungle Man, Mero Euta Saathi Cha, Kahan Chau Kahan, Nishana, Pahilo Pahilo Maya, Arjun Dev and Dosti.

Ekku-The Jungle Man was made in low budget but it was a successful movie. Ekku-The Jungle Man Suleman Shankar was seen in popular comedy teleserial 'Mari Bassai’. The movie became very popular among kids and Suleman Shankar is planning for its part two or we can say its sequel.

In 2066 B.S. few movies were made in sequel that is part two of the movie. But it didn't work. The movies were Kusume Rumal - 2, Paapi Manche - 2, Karing Gang - 2, etc. These movies didn't work or became as success as their first version. Besides that, many producers and directors copied the name of the Hindi Movies which were Dhoom, Farz, Rakshak, Mahan, Takkar but they even didn't run successfully.

Moreover, this year Rajesh Hamal brought different style that was his hair style and kissing scene with the costar in his latest movie ''The Yug Dekhi Yug Saama’' which was made by popular singer Arjun Kumar. Another movie called Silsila was also made controversy in the kissing scene.

Besides that, many controversies were made in the film industry. Like Nikhil Uprety and Sanchita Luintel's flying marriage. Besides this, Namrata Shrestha sex scandal and Pooja Lama's too sex scandal MMS rocked. The news also came that Pooja Lama married the person whom she was seen in the sex scandal and after one month they broke the relationship.

Many past heroines came back to the film industry in the year 2066 B.S. They were Krishma Manadhar, Niruta Singh, Bipana Thapa and Manisha Koirala. It seems that there will be strong competition between old and new heroines coming up in the next year.

In this year many new heroines came but expectations can be done through few heroines like Nisha Adhikari, Namarata Shrestha, and Usha Rajaka. Form new comers' heroes we can expect from Aashush Dhakal and Aryan Sidhel.

Besides that Biraj Bhatt came on the top in the 2066 B.S., in second position Aryan and in third Rajesh Hamal. In heroine there is the competition between Rekha and Jharna Thapa but this time Jharna is on the top. In second position, Rekha and in third Namrata Shrestha.

But whatever happen in last year, let's hope in this year Nepali movies shall meet our expectation and more nice movies and songs shall come. Moreover, more talent actor, actress, directors and more talented people shall come in this year.
