DIL BANJAARA

 Dil Banjaara is a Pakistani drama serial that was aired on Hum TV on 14 October 2016, preceded by Jhoot for 2016 Television season. It is directed by Siraj-ul-Haque, written by Faiza Iftikhar and produced by Momina Duraid as a night programming all under her production company MD Productions. It stars Adnan Malik as Sikandar an aspiring photographer along with Sanam Saeed as female lead and Mira Sethi as supporting character.


Nida (played by Sanam Saeed) is a girl with a lot of dreams, she wants to travel around the world, write best poetry and live carefree. Unfortunately, she has a lot of responsibilities. She lives with a physically challenged father, mentally disturbed mother, and a strict Tayi Ammi, to top that all up, she has a Phupoo too, and who wants Nida to marry as soon as possible. Nida has other plans though. During her trip to Nepal, she meets Sikander (played by Adnan Malik), also known as Sikki, who shares same passion as Nida. He lives with his father’s friend, Mehtab has raised him like his own son, because Sikander’s parents died while he was very young. Mehtab’s daughter Shama (played by Mira Sethi) is interested in Sikander and she thinks that he will marry her one day. This forms a wonderful love triangle with complex relationships.

While watching the serial, I found the serial boring. Honestly, I love the acting of Sanam Saeed and Adnan Malik but the presentation was boring. Adnan Malik is a free and wants to be in creative field  but he is confused whether he loves Shama or not. But when he meets Sanam, he falls in love with her and wants to reject Shama but cannot because he wants to pay Shama's mother favour by marrying Shama. Sometimes, this makes confuse to the audience as well the character

Audience feel that when will the serial will be in the right track as this serial is in the slow track. Audience wait till the end when Adnan will tell the truth and when Sanam Saeed will reject marriage proposal with her cousin even after knowing his truth.

So, for the sake of time pass one can watch the serial and for the sake of Sanam Saeed and Adnan MAlik's one can watch the serial.
