SUSPENSE, THRILLER AND LOVE
What could you do if your boyfriend betrays you? What could you do if stranger follows you and send messages? ranger loves you could you do if stranger loves you even if you are in the relationship? To get the answer, you need to read the novel "Marry me, stranger" by Novoneel Chakraborty.
The story begins with Rivanah nightmare. Rivavah opens her sleep heavy eyes with a yawn, the saliva rolling down her mouth. Just before she could get get out her bed, her heart almost stopped seeing her own body hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. The hanging figure was wearing the same nightdress as her, looking dead straight at her with a lurid vengeance. Rivanah wanted to get up and run out of the room but felt herself glued to the bed. Soon the ominous chuckle got so loud she thought she would go deaf. She woke up for real just before the dream could get any worse. It was 4:44 am and alarm woke up and it would be time for her new life with the job in the Programmer Analyst, Tech Sky Technologies.
For her job, she shifts to Mumbai. On one hand, she was happy for the new life and on the other hand, she was bad because she was apart from her boyfriend named Ekansh Tripathi with whom she used to share everything. In Mumbai, she stays with her cousin Meghna. While staying with Meghna, she couldn't stay with her as both the wife and husband used to argue. So, she left the place and shifted in another flat. There she meets Ishita and Asha who becomes her good friends. She shares everything with them.
But suddenly her life changes. She most of the time receives messages from the stranger. One of the messages makes the scenario of break-up between Ekansh and Rivananh. What was the message? Why the stranger is following? What does he want from her? On the other hand, somebody in the office blackmails her. Who is the guy? Why is this guy blackmailing her and taking revenge?
THE CHARACTERS
1. RIVANAH BANNERJEE
She is a young and independent girl living alone in Mumbai. Her parents loves her, her boyfriend adores her, and has a great job. But here 's the thing: her life is in danger. Someone's been following her around, watching her every move, trying to get control over her life.
At first, she thought it was a silly prank to gain my attention. Her rommie suggested he must be a secret admirer. Is he? She is a brave girl who takes a help from the police to set a trap to nab him and soon she will know if it's simply a lover's obsession or there is more to it.
2. STRANGER
He has no voice, no, face, no name, no identity but he has an intention. What's his intention, Rivananh is not able to understand. He sends her messages and wants her to do favour for him. He doesn't show his face and she is eager to see him. Who is he?
3. EKANSH TRIPATHI
Ekansh and Rivananh were a relationship for a long period of time. They never quarrel and never argued with each other. Although, they worked in different places, they used to chat and talk over the phone. They were much in love. But Rvananh, one day, saw him with one girl. He later confesses that he loved that girl and finally broke their relationship.
4. PRATEEK
Prateek is the school friend of Rivanah. In school, on the occassion of Valentine's Day, he had prososed her but she had rejected him. Now, he works in the same school but different department. Although, he looks decent and gentleman, he has a darkside. He blackmails and take revenge on her. What was the reason to take revenge and blackmailing? How she tackles it? To know the readers should read the book.
After reading the novel, I really felt one should read the novel because it do have suspense. The suspense builds the curiosity. The readers wants to know who is following her. What is his intention? Who is he? He has no voice, no face, no name, no identity. The readers also wants to know after break-up will Rivananh involves another person or not. This is the book which most of the youngsters want to read. Although, readers might feel the story is involving in one point, there is the curiosity what will happen next?
