DIL DIYAN GALLAN

Dil Diyan Gallan is one of the good romantic Pakistani telefilms that I have never watched. It is a 2018 Pakistani drama television film released on Eid-ul-Fitr 2018. The telefilm is produced by Momina Duraid under their production banner Momina Duraid Productions and stars Saba Qamar and Zahid Ahmed in lead.

The story looks like the Hindi film ‘Jab We Met.’  The story begins Saba Qamar (Raniya) calls her boyfriend Asad Arsalan (Vicky) to meet at the railway station. She packs her clothes and runs for the station. She waits for Vicky but he doesn’t arrive. There she meets Zahid Ahmed (Hassan) who is a writer. Raniya was about to commit suicide when Vicky doesn’t arrive. While waiting for the rail, Hassan explains that committing suicide is not good because of what family thinks and what her family thinks about her suicide.

When Raniya explains Vicky, Hassan says that he will pretend that he is Vicky and will give the wrong impression about Vicky so that her family will reject him. She agrees and goes to meet her family but the opposite happens. They get married.

After married, slowly they fell in love but doesn’t express their feelings. One day, Hassan plans to express his feelings but he sees Vicky with Raniya. So, he doesn’t express his feelings. Later, they tell the truth to their family. Meanwhile, Raniya tells her Phuppo that she loves Hassan and Hassan sends the letter to her that he loves her. Phuppo tells to listen to her heart. So, she meets him at the railway station and expresses her feelings.

I love the story. There are comedy, emotions and feelings in the drama. The acting of Hassan and Raniya is one of the best performances in the drama. Moreover, I love the acting of Najia Baig as Phuppo. Her comedy is the best. The way she delivers her dialogue is the best way that brings humour and smile. So, this is the best and sweet romantic telefilm that one should watch.
