ACKNOWLEDGE AND ITS IMPORTANCE

While I was taking session in one of the training's, the session was about acknowledged. At the beginning why they are having the session on acknowledge. The trainer said to write an acknowledged email to the person whom we want to. After writing acknowledged email and sending it to the concerned person, I felt relief and the response was also nice which gave me more relief. And after that I knew the importance of acknowledged. So, what is the meaning of acknowledge and what are its importance? 

Acknowledge is to admit to be real or true; recognize the existence or to acknowledge one's mistake. In other words, it is to show or express appreciation or gratitude for something.

So, how many of us acknowledge in our daily life? Acknowledge in the sense how many of us say thank you and sorry in our daily life? Do we say thank you to our mother when she cooks for us, how many says thank you to the shopkeeper when we buy goods and how many of us say thank you after we end our bus stop to conductor?

It seems small things but small things also matter. When one does feel acknowledged by others, it is going to make them feel good. It is going to have a positive impact on their life and this means that other people could also benefit. If one feels good, there is the chance that they will want to pass the feeling on to others.

On the other hand, if one doesn’t feel acknowledged by other people, it could make them feel bad. It is unlikely to have a positive impact on their life and other people could also suffer as a result. Through feeling bad, one might want to pass on their pain to others. It gives negative impact on their life. Moreover, it gives psychological impact because they are not been acknowledged.

People want to be acknowledged for their contributions.  It helps people feel appreciated.  It is also a tool you can use to highlight and reinforce skills and behaviors that will lead towards success.

One must also need to acknowledge themselves. Acknowledging ourselves achievements, even in a small way, increases positive emotions such as self-respect, happiness, and confidence. This is a very good thing in terms of ourselves personal growth, but what we may not be aware of is that there is a growing body of research that associates cultivating positive emotions on a regular basis with psychological well-being, resilience and living longer.

In professional life too, if the employees are not acknowledged, they won't be able to work or give good impression. They won't be able to motivate to work and have good environment to work. If they are acknowledged, they are so motivated to work and have high energy to work in the office. They will give their best skills to give best product in the work. They will give 100 percentages in their work. 

So, acknowledge gives positive vibes and motivates. Furthermore, it encourages working more. It helps to build the good relationship between two people.
