BOOK REVIEW "BLACK SUITS YOU"

“Black Suits You,” written by Novoneel Chakraborty is a thriller which started with a prologue a girl narrating her sexual fantasy on a telephonic conversation with Kiyan, the bestselling author who has earned fame for his trilogy.

 His social life starts with Success meet in various cities. There he receives a note and calls from an anonymous girl and soon she seduces him. She gifts him something which makes the bestselling author to be her pet. He even stops his engagement with his girlfriend.

Now the girl takes him to the same apartment where he and his ex-girlfriend lived. The tale starts there. Only four characters in the book Kiyan, Anashya,kashti, Tina.

Both male and female protagonists turn out to be a antagonists. Both have their own reasons for their transformation.

What worked out very well in the novel? Its the game play by Kashti and Tina ,Anashya being the brain. Author cleverly plotted that Kiyan had to get help only from Anashya. The author had our eyes completely on Kashti and Tina and nothing beyond that.Kiyan was trapped ultimately without knowing that Anashya is part of the plan.The plan is not only a revenge but a novel too , exactly the same way like Kiyan,Live your story.

Although, the novel is worth to read, I however didn’t like somehow. First part is slow but third part is interesting. Slowly and slowly, suspense is open. While reading the novel, the readers will know who the reason is behind. Although the writer suspense pleasantly, this books made me disappoint. I didn’t like the book much as there was no much to do with the book.

I could rate 3 for the book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Novoneel Chakraborty is an Indian author of fiction. His specialty lies in romantic thrillers that he writes along with philosophy mixed with it. His first book “A Thing beyond forever” released in 2008 and won the national bestseller tag in just a few months of its release.

He followed it up with “That kiss in the rain” and then wrote the book that won him the biggest applause, “How about a sin tonight?” He went on to write commercial bestsellers like “Ex” and then “The Stranger Trilogy”. The first two books of the trilogy- “Marry Me, Stranger” and “All Yours, Stranger” have won many hearts. His last release was "Forget me not, stranger"; the final installment of the trilogy. His recent release, "Black Suits You" is a psycho-sexual thriller which released in November 2016. Apart from writing books, he is a scriptwriter for television.
