Furthermore, nobody in his family knows what he does in New York neither his boyfriend knows what he does.

Prasanti, a maid of Chitralekha, is a homosexual. Chitralekha brought her when she was dancing in one of the wedding ceremony. Prasanti was born as a male with the name Prasant. He was interested been girl and ran from the home and joined the hijada group. He turned to be she and started to work with them.

After completing the novel, there will be two types of readers: one will totally dislike the book and feel little confusion about the story and second type of readers will love the story. And I am the second type of reader.

I love this novel because of the simple story and language. Another reason why I love this book is because of the characters. All the characters are beautifully portrayed. The characters which I loved are Chitralekha and Prasanti. I loved these characters because they are the strong characters. The way Chitralekha speaks and scolds are mind blowing. On the other hand, she is truly loyal to Gorkhaland and loves to work for the development of the place. She is typical human being who loves bedi.

Prasanti, on the other hand, is homosexual. She loves Neupaney Family and looks after them. Everyone in the family teases her. Although, she mind such things, she ignores it. She is happy for what she is. Nobody hates her and is very attached with Chitralekha. She makes fun of Prasanti but loves and cares her. The way the character of Prasanti is excellent. The readers loves her and feels sympathy on her.

So, the readers must read the novel as it reflects our culture. It is a simple story and have simple language. The characters are beautifully mentioned. It somehow shows the family 's importance and how they should be. So, the readers will enjoy the book through the end.
