READ FOR ONCE

After reading the novel “Summer Love”, many youth have curiosity what the end could be. There was suspense in the novel and open ending. Youth had a curiosity why protagonist “Saya” left Atit. Moreover, the simple and youth focus story so, youth may get attached with the novel. Finally, after the pressurization of the readers, Subin Bhattarai wrote the second part of the Summer Love which is named as Saya. In other words, it is much awaited novel.  Moreover, the book launch showed the huge crowd of the youth. The crowd showed the love towards the book. It also proves that the readers had curiosity on the story.

The book begins in a similar manner as Summer Love, with Saya in which she recounts her side of story to a certain erivain in a café. In few chapters, the story is about their love with the passing of down-in-the dumps time in each other’s absence. Although, the beginning parts seem interesting, later the reader might not find interesting. The reason is that the reader might feel there is no proper reason to leave Atit which shows that there is no trust between them. Their love is like teenager and childish.

The best part of the novel is the language. The novel has simple language which is used today’s youth in their conversation. Another best part is the dialogue. There are few beautiful dialogues which I really enjoyed. Moreover, there are some humors on the book. When Atit takes Saya on his house, he makes prank on her and Saya too does prank on him.

There are some factors which I didn’t like as a reader. One is that there is no systematic flow in the story. Readers might feel where the story is flowing. Another reason is that the reason behind the separation of Atit and Saya. Due to one girl named Sushmita, Saya started feeling jealousy and insecure. Instead of believing Sushmita, she could have talked with Atit. Third reason is that I felt there is something missing. The climax could be done in different way. The climax is like a Hindi film.

“Summer Love” came in the market around one and half years ago became huge successful. The novel had the open ending. The story was better too. The reason why Saya started ignoring Atit made readers know the reason. There was a pressure on the writer to write the sequel of the book. He was under pressure to write the novel which didn’t go as accepted. The readers know the writing style of Subin Bhattarai. He had good writing as he had proved in Summer Love and Kathaki Paatra.

Although, something is missing, readers will enjoy the novel. The youth will surely read the book and enjoy the novel. The novel “Saya” is like watching the movie of Salman Khan. In addition to this, the first part “Summer Love” is far better than “Saya.” Though, some parts are dramatic, the readers will enjoy. I will recommend the readers to read the novel “Saya” and analyze how the novel is. The book is enjoyable and readers feel curious to read till the end. Most of the youth might love the novel as the story might interest the readers.
