COPY CAT

I was watching the Nepali movie called Andaj as I was free. While watching the movie, I felt that I had seen the scenes of the film before. Later, I knew it was copied from many Hindi movies like Ghajini, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and Hum Dil De Chuke Saanam.

The film starts with the introduction of Jeevan Luitel to the media. After giving interview, by mistakenly, Rekha and Jeevan crashes. They frequently crash and Jeevan starts liking her. Jeevan meets Rekha in his office when she argues in his office. After that, Jeevan appoints Rekha in his office and both starts liking each other.

One day, when they were romancing in the song, Jeevan’s enemy shoot Rekha accidently. They wanted to kill Jeevan and Rekha sees them and saves Jeevan. So, Rekha’s death makes Jeevan in depressed. Everyone suggests him for the refreshment so he goes to Jomson. There he meets second Rekha Thapa and starts liking her. But she likes Sabin Shrestha. Later, he dies in plane crash. So, Jeevan marries her.

Later, in Kathmandu, he sees Sabin and follows him but Sabin says he is not the one he is searching. But Jeevan doesn't believe him. So, follows him and Sabin tells him the truth. When he was about to go inside the plane, he is called by his boos so doesn't go inside the plane. When he returned back, he saw Rekha’s marriage. That’s why he pretended to be somebody.After knowing the truth, he tells to Rekha about Sabin and promise her that he will make them together. 

On the occasion of Teej, one of the female explains how much Jeevan loves Rekha and why Rekha is doing to him like that and explains the importance of Teej. Meanwhile, Jeevan comes to take her but at the end, she goes with Jeevan.

The beginning part of the movie is copied from the movie Ghajini. In the movie, Jeevan Luitel gives his introduction how he started his business like the Aamir tells in the movie Ghajini. Second is that Rekha Thapa dies in the movie as killed by Jeevan’s enemies. And Jeevan is not focused in the work due to Rekha Thapa’s death. So, he goes beyond the place. But she meets Rekha Thapa in another face. He begins to love her. In Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Hrithik Roshan is killed by his enemy. So, Ameesha Patel is not focused in anywhere so she goes outside India for refreshment and meets another Hrithik Roshan.  

It’s like Hum Dil De Chuke Saanam because of the last part. In this last part, she goes with Jeevan Luitel. Jeevan tries to make two hearts together. In Hum Dil De Chuke Saanam too, Ajay helps Aishwarya’s to go with Salman but goes with Ajay.

I was shocked after watching the movie. Why Nepali films have to copy Hindi Films? Cannot they make their own originality? Cannot they take a little bit risk? Why Directors, Producers and Scriptwriters are scared to take a risk? Why they depend on the Hindi Films? For one Nepali Films, they take three Hindi Films they take three Hindi films help. Why cannot they use their own mind? Why they cannot copy properly?
